Holden Days & Art Lot

(This image is from townofholden.net)

The town of Holden will be holding the 33rd annual "Holden Days" August 25th along a portion of Main Street. I will try to get a table at the Art Lot in order to sell my artwork. I am hoping to split the table with the Art Committee of Genesis Club in Worcester. I think it would be a great opportunity for us to at least get some publicity. I will at least bring the canvases, puzzles, and framed image I am trying to sell on Etsy.com as well as some flyers for my webcomic, some prints of my work, my business cards, and my portfolio to show. Obviously I won't need a 20 by 10 or even a 10 by 10 foot space for my own artwork, so that is why I hope to share the space with other people. Also, sharing a space will allow us to take turns watching the table and explore the grounds.

There is plenty that goes on during Holden Days. Many stands are set up for local businesses to hand out flyers and possibly candy, to sell a wide arrangement of items, to sell food, and raffles. Even the library will be selling old books for a dollar or less. It is at least reasonable to explore for about an hour or so.

Zheph Skyre: Page 2

I have returned from Connecticon! However, I won't go into much detail about it until tomorrow. Today I have posted the next page in my Zheph Skyre web comic.

This page is a closer view of the city called Corthon, and some of the inhabitants who live there. What you see in the last panel won't be revealed until Thursday, unless if I post it Wednesday which might be a possibility. It depends on how many pages I can get finished within my schedule.

The green on the outside of the panels is just to go along with the previous page. When the pages are printed out onto paper, it will make more sense.

I also have another item available in my Etsy store. I am selling some magnetic puzzles.

Art All State 2012, My Etsy Update, and Possible New Art Possibilities

This weekend, for the 25th year in a row, the Worcester Art Museum held artwork featured by Art All State. It is a student-teacher program where artwork of alumni from Junior year of high schools in Massachusetts is featured in the education wing of the museum. In celebration of this particular event, the museum has designed a mural of blue painter's tape conveyed into an interesting image. This year it is a crane lifting another crane out of shark infested waters.

The metal print of my wind dragon I have for sale on Etsy has gone up in price because I am having it framed with matting, liner, and museum glass. It will look very good in this frame, but I found out framing is expensive, so the price of the piece had to go up.

I was suggested to bring my artwork to this tattoo place called Secret Society. It is a tattoo place that displays art from local artists on their walls. I have been suggested to show my artwork to tattoo artists before, so maybe I will check this place out just for that.

My Etsy Store

Yeah, I ended up just adding the ice blade to one of my dragons right before I redeemed my Groupon to have it on a gallery wrapped canvas and shipped to my address. So far I have set this up in a small shop on Etsy, but this is only one of two items it has so far. I will see if I can sell my chocolates in my store.

I have also been trying to redo my web-comic and work on the next 11 second animation. Both will be impressive when I get them done. The 11 Second animation will be done before the end of this month. The web-comic will be out shortly after that, and up above is the sketch for the title page so far...

Water Dragons: Post Final

Here are two water dragons from my Zheph Skyre series. I am not entirely sure if I completely finished with this illustration. I am thinking of putting more bubbles in the water and I am thinking of putting more ice on various parts on the body of the evil water dragon. Feel free to leave me any feedback about this piece. I will have this and my Wind Dragon piece available on my webpage to view and on Etsy. I will have various types of prints made for each piece.
