New at WAM: Kennedy to Kent State and 20 Century American Drawings

On Saturday September 29th at the Worcester Art Museum, there will be an exhibition opening for Kennedy to Kent State. This gallery will have photographs from America from 1958 to 1975. These photographs include the presidency and assassination of John F. Kennedy, the Civil Rights Movement, the Vietnam War, the American space program to the moon, and the antiwar movement and counterculture.

These images are from the Museum's permanent collection, and this gallery will be open until February 3rd, 2013.

A gallery that just opened recently at the Worcester Art Museum is 20th Century American Drawings. It includes works on paper highlighting movements of Realism, Regionalist Art, Abstract Expressionism, and Post-Modernism.

These images are from "Access: Worcester Art Museum Magizine" and an invitation from the Worcester Art Museum.
