Here are some more postcards and pictures from 1st Friday Boston. Tomorrow is the last day of these post cards and pictures.
Here is Joan Zagrobelmy's bookmark for her strange pottery at Vessel's Gallery. Here is a postcard for John Gonnella who paints huge pop art paintings. Unfortunately he does not have a website of his own, but he does have a Flickr account.
Here is a postcard for Liz Shepard's work at the Boston Sculptors Gallery.
Here is Marian Dioguardi's postcard.
Here is Movimiento's postcard, which displays art furniture, sculpture, paintings, and offers tango lessons. That was the store with a brick and metal interior.
Here is Nedret Andre's bookmark. At least I think this is a bookmark. I can't imagine this long thing as a postcard.
Here is a postcard for Andrew Plaut. He was among a few artists who had work at a gallery a block away from the main area.
The New Art Center is looking for artists and curators!
Here are some photographs I took while I was there.
This artist was painting patrons when people were coming into his gallery. These are some paintings that didn't take too long.
Here's a black painted stick. It was just below the black splotch on the wall.
Here is more wall art that would be difficult to hang elsewhere.
Here are some of Joan's strange pottery.
This was what I saw as I passed by an open art shop.
Traditional frames and canvases are not needed. Sometimes for certain artists, they are confining.
I believe we are viewing paintings done by Marian Dioguardi here.
More paintings.
This appeared to be an interesting way to display and sell jewelry.
More paintings that interested me.
